Our climate and environmental policy

Bing Hodneland continuously works to improve our environmental performance and works actively to reduce the company’s impact on climate and the environment. We must comply with the authority’s and our own requirements, and follow environmental management in accordance with the Eco-Lighthouse Foundation.
Bing Hodneland particularly emphasizes the following themes in our climate and environment-oriented work:
We must reduce our greenhouse gas emissions to a minimum.
We must have a safe and pleasant working environment in the business.
We want your input on our climate and environmental work
Bing Hodneland must contribute to a more sustainable society, and we therefore take responsibility for our environmental impact by having initiated the process of becoming Environmental Lighthouse certified in the near future. We are in the process of establishing an environmental management system that governs our climate and environmental work and helps us with continuous improvement. The certification also contains specific requirements that must be met in the areas of working environment, waste/recycling, energy, purchasing and transport. Every year we must report figures for our activities that result in a climate account, results and statistics. This information provides a good overview of progress and potential for improvement, and is made publicly available.
Part of the Environmental Lighthouse certification is about the interaction between business and society. Therefore, customers, partners and other stakeholders are invited to provide input on how the climate and environmental impact of our services can be improved. The input gives us useful insight into what needs and expectations you have for Bing Hodneland in the years ahead. Do you have input on how the climate and environmental impact of goods/services can be improved at Bing Hodneland? Send your proposal to post@binghodneland.no.
We look forward to working together to create a more sustainable society.
